MMM-ACNS 2017 - the 7th edition of International Conference on Mathematical Methods, Models and Architectures for Computer Networks Security was held in Warsaw, PL on August 28-30, 2017, and organized by:

Gdansk University of Technology,
Poland

Binghamton University
(State Univ. of New York), USA

Polish Association
of Telecommunication Engineers
Former editions of MMM-ACNS were organized by St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation and Binghamton University in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2010, and 2012. They demonstrated the high interest of the scientific community to the theoretical and practical aspects of the computer network and information security.

The main goals of MMM-ACNS-2017 were:
  • to bring together leading researchers from academia and governmental organizations as well as practitioners in the area of computer networks and information security with a focus on novel theoretical aspects of computer network security,
  • to facilitate personal interactions and discussions on various aspects of information technologies in conjunction with computer network and information security problems arising in large-scale computer networks.
The authors were encouraged to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished research results, not being under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the area of mathematical methods, models and architectures for computer networks security.

The technical program of MMM-ACNS 2017 comprised 25 regular papers (including 12 full papers and 13 short papers) carefully selected after a detailed review proces (each regular paper recevied at least three reviews). It was enriched by two keynote talks and three invited presentations.

We would like to thank the authors for their high-quality papers, as well as Memebers of the Technical Program Committee and external reviewers for timely delivery of detailed reviews.
